WHAT IS THE ISAIAH BERLIN LEGACY GIVING WEEKEND?

On Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th February Wolfson are asking students, alumni and friends of the College to come together and celebrate the legacy of our founding president – Isaiah Berlin – in a global weekend of Giving.

WHO WAS ISAIAH BERLIN?

Our Founder was a remarkable man whose reputation reached far and wide and whose legacy in many fields is still of importance today. For Wolfson College – its Fellows, students and alumni – the Legacy Project is a treasure trove of invaluable information about the Founder of the College – his life, his varied career, his ideas and his special vision for Wolfson.

HOW CAN I HELP?

Your support can help make the Giving Day a success. Post about the Berlin Giving Day on Facebook and Twitter, using the hashtag #IsaiahBerlin, and make sure to spread the word amongst your friends about this inspirational day. Want to make an even bigger difference? Click here to sign up as an Ambassador for the weekend. What makes a Giving Day different from any other day? Gifts made towards the Isaiah Berlin Legacy Giving Day, unlike donations made during the rest of the year, will help unlock a further £10,000. This means that your gift has the potential to make an even larger impact. You can even pledge to donate in advance of the day.

HOW DO I KNOW MY DONATION IS SECURE?

Wolfson uses an offsite payment processor called “Stripe” to process credit card donations. Stripe has been audited by a PCI-certified auditor and is certified to PCI Service Provider Level 1. This is the most stringent level of certification available in the payments industry.
